I just upgraded my plan. You will be grandfathered in to unlimited data if you have it now.

The new tethering plan is $30.00 for the base rate ,I think 3GB once that limit is reached it then rolls over to your phone data plan for the rest of the phone data plan. If your grandfathered, it would be unlimited.

The Thunderbolt will talk and data at the same time, but surfing is S L O W.

As with most things the sales people tell me on the phone, it scares me to death to test it.

Simple, clear as mud. Thanks Verizon.

Default mobile hotspot

I've seen Verizon's advertisement for using there phones as a mobile hotspot. With there lowest price plan at 2G, who could possible get any use out of it? This stupidity is going to cost Verizon alot of customers!
I looked third there new pricing, its terrible! I could not find any unlimited data plan at all.

What is Verizon's top idiots thinking? "lets try and discourage new customers from joining us"

I use my Desk top every day and night through my Verizon droid using PDAnet through Blue tooth .. for about a year now and I download hundreads of megabites a day some times a gig a day. Never had any message From Verizon ever. So maybe those people arn't doing something right! I also use my laptop on the go through my droid with No Problem's what so ever. PS if you hook up through your Droid Via Bluetooth and it wants a number to Dial ? Here is the Verizon Number to put in when it asks you?
I got it from a Verizon Tech Ready ----> *777# that is there $20 buck's a month number. and it works for free. YW.
